Send photos without losing quality via WhatsApp

As we know, all photos sent by WhatsApp reduce quality and sometimes we lose too much quality because they are compressed to save space on our devices, they are also sent faster and we save megabytes when sending. But at the cost of image quality.

But with the new WhatsApp update we can choose and improve the quality of the photos we want to send. This is something that was already required by many users to maintain the best quality of the memories and experiences captured in our photos.

Settings to improve photo quality

I am going to show you the steps to configure the best quality in WhatsApp to send photos on IOS and Android devices. The configuration is very similar on both devices, but I detail them so that you do not have inconveniences.

Configuration on iPhone devices

1. In the WhatsApp application we must enter “Settings” and choose “Storage and data”

2. Now select “File upload quality” and it will show us 3 options.

3. Choose Best Quality. (By default it will be automatic).

Settings on Android devices

1. In the WhatsApp application we must enter “Settings” and choose “Storage and data”

2. Now in “File upload quality” we must tap on: “Photo upload quality”

3. Choose “Best Quality”.

Another option on IOS devices to send photos via WhatsApp with the best quality

What we have to do is save the photos in the files folder that is integrated into IOS devices and then send them via WhatsApp as an attached document.

Details of the steps to send photos while maintaining quality.

1. We must enter the photo gallery, open the photo we want to share. Now we tap the share icon located at the bottom left. It will display the options to share, we must go down and select "Save to files" now we must choose a folder or leave it by default in the folder it shows us, then select Save.

2. Open WhatsApp, enter the chat where we want to send the photo. Select the + sign and choose "Document".

3. Browse and select the photo in files, then tap send.
