WhatsApp Screenshot without contact information

Sometimes we need to capture an image, conversation on WhatsApp to show, publish, but we don't want to show the contact information or who the chat belongs to. What we usually do is capture the entire cell phone screen and then edit the image by cropping the contact information.


But here I will show you a trick so that you will not have the need to crop your screenshots anymore because in the same chat a rectangle will appear covering the contact information.

How to capture WhatsApp screen without contact information

  1. Enter the chat that we are going to capture the screen.
  2. Press and hold the left date icon located in the upper left (next to the contact information) and without releasing scroll down a little. (Now you will see that your contact information is not visible.)
  3. Capture the cell phone screen as you usually do.
